Summary of Works:
What Needed To Be Achieved: Our clients requested that we provided them with a bespoke food service solution for one of England's most successful and best supported Rugby Union clubs for phase one of their Welford Road ground redevelopment. This was a brand new main stand with a capacity in excess of 10000. Across all three tiers, from the largest hospitality suites to the public kiosks and restaurants, the overall emphasis was to provide customers with a nutritious and flexible food provision of a standard normally associated with top end high street bistros, a premier solution for a premier club. How We Achieved It: Working closely with the professional team for 18 months prior to the main contract being awarded, we developed a number of food concepts to satisfy the clients requirements. including a main production kitchen, two satellite kitchens, conference and banqueting provisions the public kiosks, a pizzeria and an Indian restaurant. Unique solutions we sourced and specified included a fully automated and computerised "Burger Clan;" a 2 tier chain driven pizza oven and bespoke commercial catering equipment for the provision of indian food. This was only achievable by us utilising our close business partnerships with our preferred manufacturers. Despite a schedule of only four weeks, we successfully project managed all of these installations in time for the club's official opening event.
